About Bathon Builders

Founded in the early 1980s, Bathon Builders began it’s 30+ years of business by restoring barns and agricultural buildings. 

Incorporating in 1991, Bathon Builders grew to specialize in building custom homes and waterfront renovations. The following 10 years led the company back to its passion; restoring older buildings. 

Today, we continue that tradition, specializing in Commercial Construction and Historical Renovation.

• Liriodendron Front Terrace Repair and Rehabilitation

  • Bel Air, MD 2021-2022

  • Removal of concrete terrace, patch spalled sandstone, add a new metal decking system, and replace with new exposed aggregate concrete paving. Existing balustrades were to be removed, repaired, and reinstalled.

• Jesse Cooper Stormwater Infiltration

  • Dover, DE 2021

  • Installation of underground piping systems and backflow preventers for storm water systems. Custom window well covers were installed at below grade windows along with a new flood resistant exterior door.

• Tatnall Building Exterior Window Repair and Painting

  • Dover, DE 2020

  • High profile building in Dover, DE had all existing wood windows repaired and painted.

• Delaware State Housing Authority

  • Dover, DE 2020-2021

  • Five buildings located on the “Historic Green of Dover” needed exterior repairs, which included restoration work to exterior woodwork, windows, doors, and shutters. Renovation work was coordinated and approved by the Delaware Historic Society.

• Elk Landing Stone House Window Replacement

  • Elkton, MD 2019-2020

  • Design and build contract to repair/replace fifteen windows and three doors at the Historic Elk Landing Stone House. The Maryland Historic Trust required historically accurate windows and doors that were in operable condition.

• Rockwood Mansion Exterior Woodwork and Carpentry

  • Wilmington, DE 2018

  • Repair and restore specified exterior woodwork on the Rockwood mansion including trim, windows, doors, soffits, railings, posts, decking, ceiling, and balustrades.

• Rockwood Porters Lodge

  • Wilmington, DE 2018

  • Complete exterior and interior renovation of a stone building located at Rockwood Park.

• Rockwood Mansion Conservatory Preservation

  • Wilmington, DE 2018

  • Preservation of a nationally recognized historic place at the Rockwood Mansion. The conservatory required ornate woodwork repairs, replication of wood parapet walls, windows, and doors.

• Upper Chesapeake Corporate Center, Cecil County Maryland Tenant Fitout

  • Interior demolition and alterations to a business suite

• Jacob Tome Gas House Restoration

  • Port Deposit, MD 2016-2017

  • Restore and modify the historic Jacob Tome Gas House to accommodate a first floor visitor center and second floor research center

• Swan Harbor Park Pier Maintenance

  • Repaired framing and selectively made structural repairs. Pressure washed, primed, and sealed entire pier.
